The goal of the project is to support and educate young people into informed and active citizens by drawing on their own talents and creativity transition by using non-formal learning methods and interdisciplinary action-research.
«YouthGreen: From Youth Dream to Urban Green» is a project funded by the European Commission through the «Erasmus + program: Youth in Action» in Norway.
The main goal of the project is to support, educate and empower young people to take action in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by using non-formal learning methods and interdisciplinary action-research. We want to build a bridge between young people and other domains such as academia, policy-making and media, and give them a voice and an active role in urban sustainability and the green transitions.
Project partners will design and implement three different learning cycles focusing on urban sustainability education in Brussels and Oslo, where different activities will be implemented to engage young people in Urban Sustainability Education & Creative and Positive Actions. We will also organize two mobility events and a final dissemination
event to share findings and results.
This project will have a positive impact on both organizations Nabolagshager and Urban Foxes due to the transnational partnerships, and a direct impact on the lives, skills, attitudes and knowledge of our young people by empowering them to take
positive action in light of the 2030 agenda.
